The installation quality of gas turbine flow meters directly affects their accuracy and lifespan.

Key installation requirements:

1. Installation direction: Horizontal installation (commonly used), or ensure that the flow direction is from bottom to top when installing vertically.
2. Pipeline connection: It is necessary to ensure that the flowmeter is aligned coaxially with the pipeline to prevent gaskets or welds from protruding into the pipeline. Import and export pipelines should be supported to minimize installation stress.
3. Front and rear straight pipe sections: Usually require upstream ≥ 10D and downstream ≥ 5D.
4. Supporting accessories: Filters must be installed upstream. Globe valves should be installed before and after the flowmeter.
5. Environment and safety: Avoid strong electromagnetic, vibration, and thermal radiation. Outdoor installation requires rain and sun protection measures. It is strictly prohibited to perform electric welding directly on live flow meters.
